Waterfalls and Hot Springs

Day 3 starts with waking up below the stunning waterfalls on the east side of Baranof Island. The area features around six mesmerising waterfalls, including Ell Cove and Kasnyku Falls. This region is renowned for its salmon, so try your hand at fishing off the back of your yacht. Later, head to Warm Springs to enjoy one of the nine hot springs with temperatures ranging from lukewarm to 120°F. Take an afternoon hike to the glacial blue Baranof Lake, exploring remote hiking trails and spotting bears. End the day with an overnight cruise.

Day 4 begins on the west side of Baranof Island, renowned for bear-watching in the Sitka Sound. Cruise to Redoubt Lake, where you'll see bears in their natural habitat, especially from July to September. Watch as they feed on the salmon-rich waters, with cubs possibly experiencing their first feed. Enjoy a delicious meal on deck in the evening, followed by a serene cruise to your next destination. Relax with a hot apple cider as you soak up the sunset from the deck.

Whale Watching and Seymour Canal

Day 5 begins with crossing Frederick Sound, where you’ll see whales breaching and tail-waving from your yacht. Humpback whales migrate here between May and September, displaying unique feeding patterns known as bubble netting. After whale watching, head to Seymour Canal to see bears feeding during one of the most abundant salmon runs in southeast Alaska. Drop anchor at Windfall Harbor for the evening and enjoy a relaxing kayak session across the serene waters, surrounded by rugged terrains and snow-capped mountains.
