Alaska’s Ultimate Yacht Charter Adventure

Day 1 begins in the afternoon with a westward cruise past the vast Tongass National Forest. As one of the largest national forests in the country, it offers spectacular scenery, including pine-covered hills and cloud-haloed mountains. Continue your journey north to Neka Bay where you'll moor overnight. Before heading to bed, set some crab traps to haul in fresh catch in the morning, adding an exciting and delicious start to your Alaskan adventure.

Day 2 begins with fishing for Dungeness crab in the morning, followed by exploring the native village of Hoonah. Immerse yourself in the cultural history and enjoy the local eateries. Next, cruise into Icy Strait Point, where you can witness diverse wildlife such as sea lions and orcas during the summer. From there, head onwards to Takatz Bay for a romantic evening cruise. End the day with a classic Alaskan-style crab cookout on deck, enjoying the fruits of your morning's labour.

Day 3 starts with waking up below the stunning waterfalls on the east side of Baranof Island. The area features around six mesmerising waterfalls, including Ell Cove and Kasnyku Falls. This region is renowned for its salmon, so try your hand at fishing off the back of your yacht. Later, head to Warm Springs to enjoy one of the nine hot springs with temperatures ranging from lukewarm to 120°F. Take an afternoon hike to the glacial blue Baranof Lake, exploring remote hiking trails and spotting bears. End the day with an overnight cruise.

Day 4 begins on the west side of Baranof Island, renowned for bear-watching in the Sitka Sound. Cruise to Redoubt Lake, where you'll see bears in their natural habitat, especially from July to September. Watch as they feed on the salmon-rich waters, with cubs possibly experiencing their first feed. Enjoy a delicious meal on deck in the evening, followed by a serene cruise to your next destination. Relax with a hot apple cider as you soak up the sunset from the deck.

Day 5 begins with crossing Frederick Sound, where you’ll see whales breaching and tail-waving from your yacht. Humpback whales migrate here between May and September, displaying unique feeding patterns known as bubble netting. After whale watching, head to Seymour Canal to see bears feeding during one of the most abundant salmon runs in southeast Alaska. Drop anchor at Windfall Harbor for the evening and enjoy a relaxing kayak session across the serene waters, surrounded by rugged terrains and snow-capped mountains.

Day 6 starts with arriving at the mouth of Holkham Bay, anchoring below the Sumdum Glacier. You might see icebergs, eagles, mountain goats, bears, and whales. Tracy Arm, one of Alaska's most stunning natural wonders, is a highlight. Even in summer, the sight of glaciers calving into the sea is breathtaking, with Sawyer Glacier being a must-see. Try yoga on deck amidst this spiritual setting, and end the day with a sundowner, watching the sky turn the mountains pink, orange, and red.

Day 7 marks the end of your luxury superyacht charter as you return to Juneau. You can spend the day exploring the city's sights or opt for a quick cruise around the scenic Tongass National Forest. As you disembark, a private car will take you to the airport for your flight home.
