Exumas Yacht Charter Adventure

On Day 1 in the Bahamas, you’ll escape to the serene waters of Staniel Cay. Flying privately into Staniel Cay is straightforward, with various options for private jets and chartered flights, though it's not a port of entry from the USA. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your yacht at the local yacht club. After a warm welcome on board, set sail for a sunset meal overlooking the pastel-coloured buildings of the yacht club. You’ll anchor for the night in the tranquil waters of the Exumas.

On Day 2, start your morning with a hearty breakfast on deck before grabbing your snorkelling gear for a day of adventure. Your first stop is the sunken remains of a former drug smuggling plane, now an artificial reef teeming with sea life. Capture incredible footage as you swim through the wreckage. Next, explore Thunderball Grotto, a stunning partially submerged cave with breathtaking rock formations. After lunch on deck, head to Sampson Cay to enjoy water toys and the warm blue waters. On Day 3, hop into the tender and head to Pipe Creek, a stunning region of islands with white sand and shallow aquamarine waters. Spend your morning water-skiing, snorkelling, and feeling the sugar-soft sand between your toes. Enjoy lunch while cruising to Big Major’s Cay, where you'll meet the famous swimming pigs. They’ll paddle up to greet you, and your yacht crew will provide food for feeding. Pat them and snap some pictures before returning to your yacht for a themed dining extravaganza.

On Day 4, cruise north to Compass Cay, where you'll discover the ancient cave formations of Rocky Dundas. This impressive network of caves features incredible stalactites and stalagmites, creating a natural cathedral setting. Explore the sights above the sea and then snorkel in the natural pools. Nearby, visit the famous 'Rachel’s Bubble Bath,' a natural whirlpool resembling a mix of a water park ride and a thermal spa. On Day 5, embark on a breakfast cruise to O’Brien’s Cay, enjoying the fresh sea breeze and stunning scenery as you journey north. Entering the Exumas Land and Sea Park, prepare for awe-inspiring sights and excellent diving opportunities. Explore a deep plane wreck with its nose buried in the seabed at a sharp angle. After swimming around it, hop back in your tender and visit the Aquarium dive site. Here, the kaleidoscopic variety of fish will provide hours of fun exploring the vibrant marine life.

On Day 6, cruise north into Warderick Wells, the heart of the Exumas Land and Sea Park. Known as a former pirate's hideaway, this area features shallow anchorages and sandbars that emerge at low tide, creating fun tidal currents. Head ashore with your hiking boots to explore Boo Hill, choosing from over 4 miles of trails. Keep an eye out for white-tailed tropical birds nesting in the wild bushes. After enjoying the breathtaking sea views, return to your yacht for a serene sunset meal.

On Day 7, start your day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Shroud Cay. This little island is perfect for water play. Anchor in a quiet bay to enjoy Jet-Skiing, water-skiing, or leisurely snorkelling above coral reefs. Explore the island's sheltered creeks by paddleboard. On the east side, ride the current at the famous Washing Machine on inflatable toys. Relax in the shallow, sun-warmed waters, and end the day with an evening aperitif, enjoying a cocktail while lounging in the warm water.

On Day 8, begin at Norman’s Cay with snorkelling and swimming around popular dive sites like the Octopus Garden and Hammerhead Gulch. Try your hand at spearfishing and have your yacht chef cook your catches on the barbecue for dinner. Depending on the tides, visit the Exumas Sandbar for a picturesque lunchtime beach picnic, though it can get busy. After lunch, cruise to Allen Cay, renowned for Iguana Beach, where you can see iguanas basking in the sun, feed them scraps, and take photos.

On Day 9, if time allows, take one last swim in the blue water and enjoy playing with water toys one final time.
